Idyllic moments

Today we went to playdate. Five moms, ten kids, and a plastic pool. It was idyllic. I sat in the shade while Widget played, and then Granddad came to pick us up. And then we napped all afternoon. Much better.

I was only really up for that hour plus time to get dressed, but it was so nice to get out and to be with friends. Tomorrow, I rest again.

Friends can be a source of energy not a draw. But still do get rest. Naps for all sounds like a good plan, for sure. Man your three year old must be waaay better behaved than mine. Note to self….
