Remnants of a sunny afternoon

Remnants of a sunny afternoon, spent together in the shade of our large oak tree:

Little Bear discovers the play house for the very first time …

… and Daddy’s book …

… and gravity (sorry, Daddy!) …

… a yellow leaf …

… a delicious wood chip …

… and the contentment that feeds our souls when we are all together again.

Hey, Smooch is a wood chips connoisseur, too! In fact, he likes to take pieces of mulch over to little girls on the playground – I imagine he’s thinking, “The way to a girl’s heart is her stomach… and this is a delicious piece of wood… YEAH!”

Glad you’re all together and enjoying playtime. That’s a beautiful thing.
