Today is Monday

Today is Monday. I will go to the oncologist and find out if there are further tests to take this time, or what the next step is.

I am terrified.

But no matter what I hear today, the answer for the near-term is still the same. I have today. I have tomorrow. I’m going to do my best to make the most of it, no matter the pain or the worry, and make today count.

I do hope the doctor can simultaneously confirm that you’re healthy, offer you hope for relief from pain, AND require you to undergo no more testing. Is there such a thing? I don’t know, but I devoutly hope so!
